Book a 1:1 eco-chaplaincy session
Sessions (on phone or in person) offer compassionate spiritual care for times of transition, loss, overwhelm, or reflection. Sessions offer deep listening and connection with the natural world.
Eco-chaplaincy sessions can be a rare space to be truly seen and met, a sacred time to slow down, make meaning, and reconnect with what matters to you.
1:1 eco-chaplaincy sessions are for you if you:
• Feel at a crossroads or in transition (work, relationship, etc.)
• Are navigating grief, uncertainty, or emotional overwhelm
• Feel the heaviness of humanity’s negative impact on the living world
• Are seeking a deeper connection with yourself and the natural world
Session length options
45 minutes: a gentle, accessible entry point for grounding and reflection
90 minutes: a more spacious container that may include extended conversation, time outdoors, or ritual
What happens during a session?
Every session is unique and unfolds naturally, shaped by what feels most alive for you that day. My role as your eco-chaplain is to listen deeply, offer gentle inquiries, and create a supportive space for reflection and reconnection with yourself and the natural world.
A typical session usually includes:
• A brief guided meditation
• Open conversation about what’s currently “up” for you right now, with attentive listening
• A nature connection practice and/or embodied ritual
• Time for reflection and closing
About Me
Hi, I’m Jamie. I’m the founder of Lotus Compass and a Buddhist eco-chaplain under the training of the Sati Center for Buddhist Studies. My formal spiritual practice started over a decade ago, but really it began when I was out on the farm, spending lazy summer days with my pony Angel.
My work is framed by my belief that our individual healing is the Earth’s healing, and the natural world is available as a teacher to all of us. Understanding this, we are able to be guided by the wisdom of nature if only we slow down enough to listen.
As an eco-chaplain, I am a conduit to help people connect more deeply to nature, and in turn, connect more deeply with themselves. Eco-chaplaincy is the work of my heart & soul. It holds space for the full range of the human experience: grief and anxiety, hope and resilience, birth and death, loss and renewal. The heart of my work is simply about remembering that everything leads us to awakening, if we meet it with presence and openness.
Dan, Grounding & Reflection session client
“I would highly recommend doing a session with Jamie, actually it's with yourself and nature. The session is beautifully presented, with love, depth and simplicity. It was one of the best growth experiences of my life.”
